Offense explodes in 10-0 win

Selects vs. Thunder

Thursday, May 24, 2012

The Selects moved to 2-0 with a lopsided 10-0 win over the Thunder, scoring early and often while pitchers Scott Clark and Chad Fink continued to hold opposing offenses scoreless in this young KFL season.

Clark threw three innings of no-hit ball, walking one and striking out one before handing the ball to Fink. In his three innings, Fink allowed just one hit and one walk, while striking out five.

Meanwhile, Ty Sebastian made his presence felt in his KFL debut, going 4-4 with two home runs, a double, three RBIs, and four runs scored. Fink also went yard, while Brad Dowling went 1-2 with a walk and two runs scored in just his second game as a Select. Brad Cleasby didn't let the new faces have all the fun, going 3-3 with a walk, an RBI, and two runs scored.

The Selects will look to keep it rolling next Thursday at 7 against the Predators.

MVP: Ty Sebastian, SS
