The Selects got back into the win column Wednesday night, eking out a 1-0 win over the New Dundee Dodgers in a rain-shortened five-inning affair. Scott Clark moved to 2-0 on the year, allowing just two hits and striking out four over five scoreless innings.
The Selects scored the game's lone run in the top of the third when Brent Furtney notched a leadoff single, advanced to second on a Brad Cleasby sacrifice bunt, and came around to score on two passed balls. Cleasby also picked up a pair of singles in his two other plate appearances, and added his second stolen base of the season for good measure.
